The Park Hyatt Vendôme, a peace haven in the jewelers’ district

The immaculate and glittering Palace plate at the entrance of the hotel does not leave any room for doubts: you are entering a palace, one of the two recently promoted by French officials. With its spa facilities, its two gourmet restaurants “Pur” and “Orchidées”, its 143 rooms and 35 suites, the Park Hyatt undoubtedly deserves its new status.

Ideally located between place Vendôme and the Opera house, the hotel is the perfect place for some luxury shopping, especially if you are looking for jewels. Boutiques such as Dubail, Boucheron or Cartier are just a few meters away from the hotel on rue de la Paix. The hotel is also close to some of Paris’ major attractions: the Louvre, the Place de la Concorde or the Champs Elysees are within walking distance.

As the hotel is advocating a more-eco friendly tourism, it can provide complimentary bikes. If you opt for this alternative, picnic baskets can be prepared by chef Jean-François Rouquette. Don’t worry, if you prefer to have your meals at the hotel, you can also taste his outstanding cuisine at the one-Michelin-star Pur restaurant. Customers with a sweet tooth should not be able to resist  the Paris-Brest or the Ecuadorian sensation that can be tasted in a sumptuous room with a direct view on the kitchen.
